The ink is a wonderful, rich cedar green color with beautiful shading properties if laid on thick enough. The scent leaves something to be desired, and is definitely not "Cedar" by any stretch of the imagination, unless you are thinking 'O-Cedar' cleaner. On the bright side, the scent is not very strong and dissipates almost immediately, leaving a really smooth line behind. Good ink to write with.
