This is an early review so take that into consideration.I don't know how much more dummy-proof they could have made the installation. I was going from an existing filtration system but not an RO system. So I had the connections, fittings and even the existing inlet line which I reused, but I did not have the drain line and was a little uneasy about but that went extremely smoothing considering I didn't have anywhere to drill other than a pipe fitting.I really like a couple of things about this. 1.) They provide plenty of length of the hoses/connection lines. I didn't install mine under the sink but rather one cabinet over where there was an empty space for a trash compactor that was unused and it all fit in that empty space nicely with plenty of provided line to do the job. 2.) I like that you just replace the filter and not a whole cartridge. I hope those filters remain easy to find because the whole reason I'm installing this is because the system I had was discontinued and filters no longer available. Word to the wise- whichever one you chose, go with a popular brand that you think is going to be around a while.I also like that they don't make a bunch of phony claims like NSF approved and 99.99% whatever. That's a bunch of malarkey. As for the taste, well, it doesn't have any. You might like that. I used to like that. I preferred tasteless water like distilled water. When I got my last filtration system, it had cartridges that added minerals for flavor and for the past 3 or 4 years I've gotten used to that. I will have to re-get-used-to flavorless water like I used to prefer. Many people are asking about chlorine and fluoride removal. I'm fairly confident it's stripping that out and the reason I say that is because a pet watering station that I have has suddenly, as in two weeks of use, become very moldy on the inside. I never used to do that with water out of the sink. But since using this, there doesn't appear to be anything to keep that mold at bay. So if you have things like water dispensers, you're going to need to stay on top of cleaning them more frequently to make sure they're not getting moldy without the chlorine, what minuscule amount that there is in tap water.Seems well made. Oh yeah, and if you're wondering, you can fill up eleven 32 oz (1 liter) bottles of water before the flow rate gets unusable. But that is with brand new filters. The first 8 bottles fill up in around 20-30 seconds. That's very fast compared to my last system.
