Will be making multiple updates to this review over the course of time in 2018-19. I have erected a 5 gallon pale setup with this filter media. I know this is a replacement filter for some Zen thing but it can also be used with a single 5 gallon pale and a catcher for the filtered water. This is great for making an emergency water filtration system. Flow rate is fast as of now but i know it will decrease overtime. Total cost of project belowThis filter $11ish2 5-gal pale with lids $10ishspigot with bolt and washer kit $5ishOf course you will need a way to cut the holes for filter and spigot to pass through, i used a 3/8" spade bit and drill. Minor "routing" which is a technique using the spade bit to slowly edge out the holes to make them a little larger was necessary to make it fit, ultimately the threads did eventually catch on the hole i made in the bucket.Update 1/22/19Been using my personal system with this filter for a few months now. Still using it as my primary source of clean water sourced from municipal tap. This is an amazing deal and i can't imagine going back to unfiltered tap. STILL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for filtering of TAPUPDATE 4/7/19filter Setup is still performing perfectly, it has filtered about 500 US GAL since built. I am returning to buy more for when it does stop working. My health has definitely changed for the better in the time since i began using my bucket filter. Still highly recommended
